Two firefighters were hospitalized and later released following a residential structure fire on East Paint Street in Washington Court House. Two cats were rescued, and the Ohio Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.

Washington Court House Fire Department firefighters completed hands-on training Saturday using a local structure slated for demolition. Crews practiced ladder operations, ventilation, search and rescue, and emergency response procedures.
