Water Service Temporarily Interrupted for Wellston Residents During Valve Replacement

WELLSTON, Ohio — Residents on Radcliffe Lane and Jason Street in Wellston may experience a temporary interruption in water service as the City of Wellston Water Department completes necessary repairs to the city’s water system.

According to a public notice from the city, crews are replacing a water valve today, which requires a temporary shutdown of service for customers in the affected areas.

Officials said the work is expected to be completed quickly, with water service restored as soon as possible.

The city thanked residents for their patience and understanding while the improvements are made.

Customers who experience discolored water after service returns are advised to run their cold water tap for several minutes until the water clears.
