CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Chillicothe police responded to a variety of calls over the weekend, including stolen vehicle reports, drug arrests, thefts, disorderly conduct complaints, traffic crashes, and multiple criminal trespassing incidents.
Two Stolen Vehicles Reported
Police opened investigations into two separate stolen vehicle reports over the weekend.
One vehicle was reported stolen Saturday morning from the 600 block of Oneida Road. Another stolen vehicle was reported on Sunday on Chestnut Street.
Officers also investigated a receiving stolen property complaint on Allen Avenue connected to a stolen vehicle.
Drug Arrests Following Traffic Stops
Police made multiple drug-related arrests during weekend traffic stops.
Saturday evening, officers stopped a vehicle on Adams Avenue for a stop sign violation. The driver was cited after suspected drugs were recovered, with charges pending laboratory results.
Later Saturday night, another traffic stop on North Rose Street near East Water Street resulted in arrests on charges of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Theft Investigations Continue
Officers investigated several theft complaints across the city, including:
A theft at Christian Life Tabernacle Church on North High Street.
A shoplifting complaint at Walmart on River Trace Lane.
A theft reported on Saint Margaret Road.
A theft at a business on North Bridge Street.

Police responded Friday afternoon to East Fifth Street for a reported breaking and entering. The investigation remains active.

Speedway on East Main Street.

Police responded to several disorderly conduct complaints during the weekend, including incidents at:

One incident at Wendy's resulted in an arrest after officers responded to an unconscious man who was allegedly intoxicated.

A hit-and-run crash on Buckeye Street in which the suspected driver is being investigated for operating a vehicle while impaired, leaving the scene of an accident, and failure to control.
A two-vehicle crash at North Paint and Water streets that resulted in a citation for assured clear distance ahead.
A crash on North High Street after an alleged failure to yield.
Multiple traffic stops resulting in citations for driving under suspension, stop sign violations, traffic control violations, and marked lanes offenses.
Missing Juvenile Reported
Officers responded early Friday morning to East Seventh Street after a runaway juvenile was reported missing. The investigation remains ongoing.
