Athens County Deputies Investigate Scam Complaint, Assault Allegation and Property Damage Reports

The Athens County Sheriff’s Office responded to 15 incidents on July 13, 2026, including a scam investigation, assault complaint, property damage caused by a bullet striking a home, and multiple disputes and welfare checks.
